End of April

Thats the famous steps........I almost kissed the ground there.  ;D

I got stuck behind 3 other bikers pushing their bikes up that section. While stopped, I dropped my bike and broke the gear lever. Had to turn around and head back  :'(

Early start from Himeville, two up fully loaded...a bit hairy in places but otherwise a pretty quick run to the top. From there to Katse Lodge via Thaba Tseka, arrived at about 5pm.

Hi, went up this past Saturday (unfortunately not on my bike this time), looked as it normally does, which is ungraded and patches of loose stone / rock. Two corners were iced up but will most likely not be by end Aug. Lots of bikes at the top on Sat...mainly smaller plastics but a good few larger dual purpose as well.
