Title: Need help with Ktm 640 adventure crash bars
Post by: Swerwers on October 07, 2012, 06:08:46 pm
Good day all!

Any dogs out there that got crashbar fitted to their 640?
I want to try and build a set but need pics and a measurement or two, if any of you would be so kind and help me with this it would be much appreciated.

I can help maybe, my friends bike has a set fitted..
been toying with the idea of making some too, with improvements...
The standard ones always seem to crack on the engine mounts, as well as pushing into the the tank...
unfortunately my tank has suffered some roasties, not having any...
let me know what you need in terms of measurements & pics ( perhaps email address as its easier to post pics)
Regards
jules

I hava a pair of Krauser crash bars that was taken off, good example of where the weak points sit! For postage you are welcome to borrow them to copy.

How are the crash bars coming?

Year depending, you maybe want to make 2 pairs?
