How comfortable is the saddle?
Was it difficult to put onto the saddle pan, and how did you fix it?
What is the suede cover like when it gets wet and dirty?

How comfortable is the saddle? - Not very, sorry
Was it difficult to put onto the saddle pan, and how did you fix it - very.  The pan is super hard and brittle.  An upholstery shop's pneumatic job could not get the staples in.  I ended up using contact glue and small self-tappers.  It is holding well. What is the suede cover like when it gets wet and dirty - easy to clean.  Petrol works the best!!!

To be fair, its wider than stock, but very hard.  I think the suede may play a part.  My feeling is that the 2012/3 saddles might be the best option presently.  Slightly wider, slightly softer and a fair bit rounder than the previous ones.

I have upgraded my 690 with a 2012 model seat and it made a huge difference....a lot more comfortable :thumleft:
