Title: KTM 690e
Post by: BatmanGS on April 29, 2013, 09:58:31 pm
Hi Guys a little help required please.

I'm sure it must be somewhere on the forum.

Progressive springs for the KTM 690e 2009/10 and the KTM 690R 2012 models.

A friend and I am wanting to fit a set of springs to our bikes to make the long fairly rough roads more pleasurable.

Who sells them and what are they like.

Hilton Hayward did the profressive springs for my bike -- still the best money spent -- for my fat ass the feel a little stiff at first but as soon as you hit the gravel they are fantastic - I think I might be wrong but I think that he actually fitted GYTR (yamaha preformance springs to my bike)

Suspension is so much more than just springs - valving, setting and correct type and level of oil as important...  Hilton is you man

Thanks Toors

I have chatted to Hilton.

I also Have a set of heavier than standard springs for a YZ I must remove them and check.

I did fit a set of HyperPro springs to my GS 800 and they made a huge difference, but we still did a lot of Dirt and the combination just never suited my application as we do a lot of dirt riding, hence the 690.

Thanks for the feed back.
