Sometimes when going to battle you need to choose your weapon for the terrain at hand. Some people should be allowed to go to battle and some shouldn't ......

Ja Williee, thats how I used to ride Chapmans peak on my R80 getuned special in about 1995 but just a bit faster in the corners. Same thing untill I klapped the Mercedez Benz doing the stupid turn in front of me number when I was commited to the corner at warp speed. We gotta compare scars at the national bash. Bly jy kon daarvan net so wegloop.
In my case it was straight into City Park hospital where the sexy pethydene injecting nurses became my best friends. 2 weeks Hospitaal and I went from 85kg to 71kg.
Was I faarking glad to get out of that place. You were lucky boet.

Post by: BliknÍrs on September 09, 2013, 06:09:13 am

n Mense se oorlewingsdrang - al is dit net vir n ekstra paar sekondes - lyk my is sterker as jou common sense.

Ek stem saam.

As jy bang is in die lewe vir "what if", moet jy maar elke dag eerder innie bed bly.

Some of us subscribe to the motto: "Go big, or go Home" it is a fact of human predisposition.
Sure that Wiliee in hindsight has learnt a lesson there. Kudos to him for putting it up here on a public forum in the first place.
As we get older we learn how to go faster more safely. That's why we are still here tuning the other ous some of the same.

Like a good friend of mine used to say in his Welsh accent - Go fast, take chances. with an evil grin on his face  He was a
helicopter pilot that almost came unstuck trying to race me on the R80 with his Landrover 110 on a Nam dirt road.
