Title: Transaction Anomaly
Post by: mox on December 11, 2013, 11:32:24 am
On Monday I checked and I apparently owed SANRAL R71.99 for 14 transactions, today it has come down to R63.01 and still for 14 transactions.

Apart from the farce e-toll is, something is not kosher with their system.

Seems to be hit and miss with me. Sometimes nothing, other times 5 in one day.
I suspect a cloned plate.

My last two days of travel have not been logged on the system.

Either they are not updating the website anymore or their database has crashed.  >:D

I heard that they switched it off because of the Mandela issue... Not sure how true that is though

I wonder if the reduction in transactions is because some are no longer in the 7 day window and move to some other part of the system and are thus not included in that report?

How do you see your transactions?

https://www.sanral.co.za/e-toll/portal/PayTollFeesUnregisteredUsers.aspx (https://www.sanral.co.za/e-toll/portal/PayTollFeesUnregisteredUsers.aspx)

first time you paste it and go to the page it takes you to the login page, paste it again and it will take you to the unregistered page, enter your registration.

I went through a couple of gantries this weekend - website no longer works (the link has also been removed from their main website), so I phoned an apparently I owe nothing...
They also only have my bakkie and my wifes bike linked to my name - none of my other vehicles.
So probably not linked to the NATIS system any more. I wonder where they are getting their info from.

There are a whole heap of false invoices being issued. Grantis got sent  invoices which where supposed to be for his KLR..... photo is of a Nissan bakkie with two dogs on the back! ?
Heard of numerous cloned numberplates, and invoices being sent to people who don't even own vehicles!.
They sent me invoices which claim my vehicle went to Roodepoort, whereas the vehicle was in KZN at the time! .... WTF? :deal: ???
I'm not paying any invoices.... at all!

anybody querying or paying this crap, must be out of their minds - I have STILL not received anything and think they still have my old postal address, although I changed that in Jul13 when I renewed my car licence, and have a copy of that document - fukkem this is Africa, if they can't sort their shit, I'm not going to any trouble myself  :sip:

I,ve been checking out this e tol stuff, but from a distance, so don,t actually know how it works.

But it seems to work the same as one of them cam fines I get and I,ve never paid and have a box full of.

I.m still going to rot in jail one day.

But them my pension provisions are not adequate and old age pension is up the tubes, so it is an option.

The jails seem safer than the streat's with a free medical plan

Received one transaction report and 3 invoices for said transaction.  There are two different discount amounts but the full price is all the same..

I don't use the toll roads often.. managed to go thru 1 gantry 2 weeks ago.. can't wait for the posted invoice for a R3.something transaction

I got two invoices in early January for December travel.
The trips were in order, but when I went to pay,
the lady told me I owed a rand odd more than the statement amount.
I refused to pay the extra and she captured payment against the invoice numbers instead.

I haven't had invoices for January yet.

You went to pay???  :lamer:

Whats the point of not getting tagged then? Sorry I'm lost here, you do not get a tag or agree to their terms yet you go in and pay the "alternative" user rate? Why?

it's still better than being a tagged sheeple, as Sanral must be flooded with paperwork, but I agree, the right response would be to also not pay  :thumleft:
