Title: REMUS silencer on a 1200 LC - pictures

We have sold a good few REMUS silencers to KTM 1190 owners, but thought I would post pictures here of the first REMUS Titanium silencer we've sold on a 1200 LC - I think it looks good, and I just KNOW it sounds great!

Customer fitted it himself, took him 20 minutes. Around R10K.

The FLying Vendor from Snoekstad...fantastic service..paid Mon and Tues at my door.
 :deal:BUT....I show my wife the dog in the photo and she notices the price!!!!!SHIT,SHIT now I have to have her  car serviced on my budget

Booked for Monday(1st service)..will check!(had a v/d Linde(checked with Etienne..not going to make for new model) on my previous adv for 62000 km)no problems
RE:radiator cover/protector service manager said"rather any make than none" they already replaced a radiator on a blue ADV and i fitted the "Cymark" covers...no change in temps so far while commuting,Sat will do some long distance
Remus has a sweet sound...also doing the BMC after first service

Old thread I know...

However, what was the outcome with the BMW warranty?

I was informed that any pipe besides the Acropovic would void the BMW warranty. - correct? ???

I heard this as well, cant one just place the Ako name on top of the Remus name and who will know? R10K for a slip on is still very expensive for me.

I have not needed to claim under warranty but workshop manager told me not to worry about it,I suppose relation to shop is more important,mecchie was concerned on my behalf ....so i choose to believe  the shop boss
Smile everytime I twist the throttle,so$$$$ all worth it ;D ;D
