Title: Are you opposed or are you registered.
Post by: Sláinte Mhaith on July 28, 2014, 02:02:12 pm
Many are very outspoken about the e-toll system but many of them also don't even use the highways.
This will give an idea of how many in the Resistance actually do use the highways regularly.

For me who use the highway seldom it is difficult to agree with the point of view of those who use it regularly and do pay.

If you use "Use it often and pay" then please vote but don't discuss it below as this is the Resistance thread and you will be flamed here  ;)

Refuse to pay.
But has any of you renewed their license disc since they made that silly little announcement?
Did they refuse to renew your disc with outstanding toll fees?

Don't run ahead. Don't worry about that now. They must first change the Road Traffic Act before they can withhold a disc.
It will not be an easy task to change the law but if they succeed we will probably only see it in 18 months time in 2017.

I use it every single week day from Pretoria to Midrand to get to work, I also use it just about every weekend as well... Haven't registered and haven't (and WON'T!) pay a cent. No idea what my bill is but it won't be a pretty sight that's for sure!

I got a new Disc yesterday in Gauteng for my vehicles.

No hassles.

My E-toll bill around R200k now.
