Seat off
Airbox off
Unplug injector from power source
Loosen the phillips screw
Pull the injector out
Clean it

finger is pointing to the plug on the injector. The injector is just to the right of my finger. Its a single screw holding it into the throttle body.

The airbox is mounted with 4 bolts and over the air intake. Two bolts at the back and two in front (behind the Safari tank if I remember correctly). Goodluck.

So no need to remove the tank then?

It looks like you must remove it.

Simple, had big problem with my inj , broke down 5 times on the road with dirt in the inj. Takes me 10min even with rally raid kit.
Take seat off, 4 skrews on side of air box, clamp around carb, lift air box unclip pipe and wiring under air box,
1 star screw removes inj . But be carefull there is a little black gromit  typ seal around the head of the inj. Dont drop it then you stuffed.
I had a chunk of pratlys steel weld inside my tank, and it was stuck in the reses under the pump, high presure it out.
No idea where it came from, suspect the previous owner used some to fix the grab handle bolts hole.
Problem solved now.
