T'was a lekker day, lots of sand, lots of obstacles and a lekker crowd, sa 'rooibaard' do things with his Tw 200 that would make a mountain goat proud!

And that 'virginity' bit is related to my first 'off' on the Adventure. I came short in that 'sandpit'. The reason I have never fallen off the Adventure is I have been to scared of having to pick it up again! :D  :D
Somehow my old 1100GS was lighter?

It is certainly the largest number of camera's on a ride... it looks like there was a digital camera convention that stumbled upon a lot of crazy ds riding pple.

Nice riding and some great pic's. I love that type of riding. Its fantastic that you have a spot where you can practise this. Its excellent for those long trips where you suddenly encounter this type of terrain

Low flying AND mountain climbing.
Respect to that man climbing klippe on that beast that I had trouble negotiating with the TW.

Wino, not as technical I would say.  The Donkerhoek quarry has steeper ups & downs, loose sandy quad tracks and plenty of trees to negotiate if you ride the quad tracks.

Plus you get all the Brannas & Coke manne there with their kids trying to show them how to "ride" a mx bike/quad with no gear but plenty of attitude.  It is actually sad that it became like that because is is a great place for training and improving.

Says the man that climbs klippe with his TW faster than a "ribbok". You still need to teach me some of those mountain climbing and klip jumping skills of yours.

Fun... it's a bit hectic at the moment... changing nappies and trying to wind a 3 week old baby takes alot out of one... especially at 2am in the morning, and then some.

I currently use weekends to lay on the couch and try and recouver as much sleep as possible with a 5 yaer old running around the house...

Although my arse itches to go off the beaten track.... riding to work every morning satisfies my biking needs. Will let you know when i am ready again.

Hijock off
