My version - fact.
Your version - fiction. ;D ;D
I forgot to add, there was a KTM with battery problems, needed a jumpstart every time, but there was also a 650GS ridden by a woman, 2 weeks after a service, battery ran flat because...........the dealer FORGOT to tighten the battery terminals...... :o

Ok, one GS seat FELL off... ;D ;D Fortunately it was found. Did anyone lose a KTM seat? ;D
In all honesty though, this is a problem on the 1200GS, quite a few have fallen off various bikes over the years, probably not covered under warranty either..... :pot:

Hey Adv, like a dog with a bone.... ;D

I must be honest - after I read this yesterday - I went home and inspected my rear seat. Must say, I cannot see how it can just 'fall off' (unless not properly installed by mistake)... Unless I'm missing an operational defect of some sort?!?
-
BMW seats fall off because the riders are always standing.
No enough downward pressure. ;D :imaposer:
But then again - the average BMW rider would not even miss his seat if it fell off. :pot:

Seriously, they DO just moer off, Ama ride ride lost one as well. Don't know why, they do seem very secure.

I lost mine after I opened it up to get out the front shock setting tool. I did not replace it properly. Its somewhere between Worcester and Robertson, next to the Breederivier....

Agree I was in a hurry and did not take enough care, I usually give the seat a good whack with the heel of my hand, but I theeenk I forget Seh!!
-
Strange phenomenon that, moering the seat very hard, I just GENTLY push the seat down and hear a gentle 'click'. ;D ;D :pot:
-
Now this picture also makes 'sense' ;D
