Just want to get some opinions on what tank bag fits best on a 690. (With Rally raid evo 2 tanks).
I have a Giant loop Fandango, that works well, but my brother is shopping for one, so open to other options. Similar in size to GL, maybe a smidge smaller?
What say thee?

I have a Bags Connection Enduro lite bag and am very happy. It's shorter than most tankbags so that you can move far up the seat, but it's got good volume. I can fit 2 tubes, ktm toolbag, tyre levers cellphone etc in it easily :thumleft:

Hi Werner - long time no chat!
The 'small brother' of the Giant Loop Fandango is the Ginat Loop DIABLE PRO: roughly half the volume (so lower), but the identical footprint...
One little-know benefit of Giant Loop is, unlike SW Motech, they sell the tank bag harness SEPERATELY, so if you have two bikes, and wish to transfer - easily! - a tank bag BETWEEN two bikes, then its doable!
I personally ride with the SW Motech/Bags Connection Enduro Light, which expands vertically, and has a very small 'footprint'..., my G450X has a non-existant front tank (it;'s underseat), so even the Fandango and X were too big for my needs!

I have GL Diablo Pro which based on the dimensions on internet is smaller than the SW Motech one, so for me the best solution.
I would though prefer even smaller one - especially in terms of width. When riding standing at speed I like to lean forward with my knees bend slightly as much as possible to keep my arms loose ans conserve energy. The bag gets in the way little when riding like that.

Thanks for all the inputs.
I would have liked to try the Wolfman Enduro, but that doesn't have the harness system...
mmm, seems like GL is still the way to go...
or these that seems to be very similar to the GL stuff, just a much better price..

The additional side pockets can also be very handy.

just a pic and dimensions of the Fandango and Diablo harness, since both bags share the same harness...
dimensions: 30 cm long x 21 cm wide.
(the Sherpa tank bag seems 33cm x 26.67, = longer and wider than Daiblo + Fandango).
I do not have a SW Motech Enduro in stock to measure the base, and my own one is at home, but it is DEFINITELY shorter, by as much as 1/3rd.

Thanks for that Chris.
The sherpa might be too big...

777 - which tankbag is that? Seems perfect size for me, but all the Oxfords I have seen in that size didn't have harness but magnetic attachment to the tank.

ok, since we have no stock, I measured my own SW Motech ENDURO LIGHT tankbag, and other than the magnetic Oxford, it is the smallest bag we stock:
dimensions are 22 (length) by 19 (width.

Will check tonight for name or model. It does have mags and straps

Xpat, if you are looking for a small one, the Kappa (I think 734) also works well.
Like I said, my brother is looking for larger one, and he has this one, that he will want to sell or trade....

Thank you Werner - had a look at it and those side pockets wouldn't work for me as they make it too wide (and I have no use for them) - which is exactly what I'm trying to resolve with the Diablo.

Thank you. I think it is X2. But wherever I have seen it it had only mags as attachment. Did you buy it already with the straps and if so can you please let me know where?

Here the pics, sorry no straps, I made small hose with cable ties and fashioned my own straps.
