hey All,

I am not overly impressed about the performance of my bike, having had a 525exc prevoiusly, i mean it has power, Ijust feel it is not jetted right. maybe you guys can shed some light.

This is what I have done so far:

Akropovic Silencer
162 Main
Stock needle pos
Stock needle
Stock Pilot jet
Mixture screw 2.75 turns out
Immisions removed
EPC removed (as well as 2nd and 3rd gear switch)
stock airbox (snorkel fitted, no mods to the side of the box)

Bike pulls relatively well till about 4000 rpm. it feels like it is running very lean as you can hear the sucking, but its not pullying cleanly (holding back)

After about 4000 it pulls hard and fast.

i have heard some guys changing the stock 45 idle jet to the 47.5?

I live in JHB.

Boosted contact Freez (member) he has got a very nice load dyno set up. If it is a jetting problem he will be able to sort it for you in no time.
