Title: Source of the Orange / Senqu ?
Post by: McSack on July 13, 2016, 03:03:44 pm
Ja ... I know it's in Lesotho (which is basically a province of SA) but there doesn't seem to be a definitive call on exactly where the river springs from

Anyone got a clue?

Got an itch that has been growing and needs to be scratched really soon

Put on your hiking boots and head up the Mnweni Cutback till you reach the top. Walk along the escarpment towards Ponj cave and on the way you will cross a small stream. That as I know it is the Senqu. :thumleft:

The last time I was up there was a while ago, no sign of vehicle access. That is the way it should stay. In my opinion.
