Title: Who owns a Africa twin
Post by: bvhdevelopments on June 02, 2017, 01:38:38 pm
This is obviously the AT section....
So for me its between a 990R KTM or AT....
Anyone who might have owned both who I can maybe give a call? I am not brand focused, so the whole brand thing does not matter..... I will be doing 80% dirt.....
I like the 990Rs a lot.... but the AT just make my heart beat.... Ive ridden the 990R but not yet a AT.....
The 990R has some of the best suspensions to date...... and the 990Rs you pick up for 120k.
Like both.... really cant decide....
Review from someone who might have owned both would be great, or a telephone number please....

Go ride the AT, someone elses opinion on the bike could be completely different to yours
Let the right bike choose you

Ive owned the 990 and now the AT, actually very similar bikes! Ive already owned the Honda longer than my 990 so that must say something  :ricky:

I should have said that I live far from a dealer who has a Demo. Bloem does not even has one..... So that makes it much more difficult....
This is one of those, I got to buy it before I ride it deals.....

:sip: Let me try to explain it to you, I have my second Triumph Tiger 800 now (xcx) I thought that was the ultimate bike.  I rode the AT about a month ago, to me that is a seriously nice bike with brute power, and on the reliability side, I will take the AT.
That is the bike I will replace my Tiger 800 with if I have to. But I still love my 800 XCx, it has features that the AT does not have.

Chat to Paul at Honda Bloem about a test ride he will make a plan :thumleft:  He's seriously jacked up and I drove all the way up there to buy mine!

Jy kan myne kom ry as jy in Bloem is :thumleft:
