Title: Berserker Exhausts
Post by: Miracle_Salad on July 24, 2017, 03:20:50 pm
Hey Folks,

Anyone here fitted a set of Berserker exhausts locally made to their GS before? They going for R4500 which is way below what you would pay for a yoshi or the like.

But can you expect the same performance increase more or less? Anyone have experience dealing with them?

I had one fitted on my f800GS and was very happy with it.

There service was very good, I made an appointment with them and went in to get it fitted.  An hour later I was on the road again.

Performance wise I don't think you will gain much, 1 or 2 hp increase if it is so much.

Sound wise it was awesome and the end can was running much cooler than the stock exhaust.

All in all very happy.

Thanks Rohann, the picture they sent of their oval type diamondback can looked very nice, and for the price is very competitive.

For those interested, this is the one they said would fit the GS. It doesn't look all that bad.

Price includes the pipe and that rubber attachment clamp.

I have one on my f650gs twin..
Sounds awesome no significant power increase, but looks much better than stock. (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170725/67830792b5df872e5f78907264b2b458.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170725/ac94e4dfc207884595733771e5f10b7a.jpg)

we've dealt with them for a couple of years now, both in Reynardt's time, as well as the new owners, solid establishment, with good products.
I have a Scorch ( the predecessor of Beserker) on my 1150, brilliant little silencer.
Warning though: Reynardt used to have a sign up on his wall: "We build Loud Pipes!", which was to 'warn' customers of their pipes being louder than stock. They then retro-fitted a decibel-reducing 'donut' to mine, which took 2db off of the volume, so I could continue riding through the security state where i lived at the time!
Nice guys, you can use them with confidence!  :thumleft:

Hi MS, i fitted one two months ago.  I opted for the full black oval with diamond tip.  It looks good and sounds good.  Not too worried about extra HP, it is already way too fast, hahaha.  On my GSA lc the exhaust bracket had to be altered slightly to make sure that the pannier arm would fit properly in its place.  Also, slightly chowing my right rear indicator. Otherwise, VERY happy with the service, friendly and fast.  Regards, Langasem

Here is a small clip of the sound, it has a nice growl to it.

If you go onto Akrapovic you will see minimal power gain on many BMW's and maybe some weight....we buy this stuff for the sound. :lol8:

Yes its all about being heard and saving some weight. If you're expecting power increases you'll need to look at fueling mods too.  Also had great service from them twice...and they can still make it LOUD if you want it to be!

I also want the sound to be slightly gruffer it sounds a bit pansy to me at the moment. I had a two bros shorty on my Fireblade and that thing screamed.

@rohann thanks for the vid appreciate it, it sounds great :)

You can't go wrong with this one.
I had a Scorch/Berserker on all three my previous bikes.
If my current bike didn't already have a Sebring on, I would've put a Scorch on.
Who knows, I might just trade mine for a Scorch........
