Big end
Main bearings

Maak jou somme vooraf.

(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180528/1cb06b0a7b509b1f05e3845bc920f7eb.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180528/fa548212152728f9b587963f4dcf2690.jpg)

OEM oil filling specs is:

 1,7L for an oil change
1.8L for oil change and oil filter change
1.9L for oil filling after engine overhaul

Good luck with your engine, hope it all works out and you get back on the trails soon.

Thats not good news, sorry to hear.

You can use the below website to check out all the fiche diagrams for parts and prices for the DRZ, its Australia spec but its the same as the SA specked DRZ and the part numbers are the same as the ones used by Suzuki SA.

Those cam caps are not sold separately from the agents as they are machine cut/matched for each specific head, you have to buy a complete head from Suzuki I am told.

If I hear you correctly did you buy a second hand head but it came with no cam caps?

That sucks that they would do that to you, as the caps are basically useless if used on another head.
Did you get the head from the motorcycle graveyard Knysna as I know they have a DRZ400E stripped?

New head from Suzuki is about R8k

Yes they sold me n peace of metal.  Ditrworx used the head though and managed to make it work.  I was very upset at first but was hopping it was still usable so did not make a fuss.
Still need to collect the bike and ride it. Must admit im a bit nervous.
