Hi all, hope this is the right place to post?
I have a 2015 250L (11000km). Showing some signs of rust at stress points like footpeg and engine mount welds. Any tips on how to fix this before it’s too late?

Spray it wurth rust off leave it for a day or two then clean it up with thinners and touch up with the closest match silver spraycan paint.
Builders wearhouse sell spraypaint its about R200 but the work well.
Spray a bit in the in the spraycan lid and apply with a small brush or earbud

For the other small stuff like brakelevers powdercoating would be best

Thanks for the input! Will stop at Builders after work. Have also managed to get the code of the frame paint, so hoping Cape Auto Paints can help me out as I have a larger area on flat side of frame where mx boot has rubbed off all the paint. Planning on removing fairings this weekend and inspect rest of the frame, and also fix up the rust on the header and repaint with heat resistant paint.

otherwise just treat with ACF50 - it wont fix it, and it wont cover it up - but it should prevent it from getting much worse

Phone racestar and ask the for clear gripper decal sheet it expensive but it lasts it looks good and it works i used it on all my bikes.

How about using something like rust stop and then touching up with silver with a small brush ?
