I'm sitting at LAX waiting to fly home after the launch of the Indian FTR1200 "flat tracker for the street". They have various versions with different accessories, but the most interesting for this forum is the Rally with white colouring, raised bars, raised exhausts, spoked wheels, a braced mudguard and a small screen. We didn't get a chance to ride this version but we did have a go on the more roady versions. My tale will be up on www.thebikeshow.co.za on Monday afternoon.
Until then, have a look.

Quite a Catchy design although not my cuppa tea.
-
That is properly beautiful! :drif:
-
What "Rally" will that bike be eligible for ?
-
The Buffalo Rally, The Rhino etc comes to mind.
-
:laughing4:
-
Absolutely stunning :thumleft: Where are these being built now ?
Black and white pinstripe on screen is out of place though

+1

Probably one of the only bikes ever made where you would want to keep the exhaust standard.. looks the business to me.
-
Not sure where the "Rally" comes in but looks good.
Probably a nice Rally to the local coffee shop perhaps.
I like what they did with the frame.
-
I like very much :drif:
Probably aimed at the same customer as the BMW RNineT?
Reminds me of the "special" Harley I locked eyes on at Tygervalley

Yeah I'd agree that it's aimed at the RnineT market.
Those exhaust pipes looks like it was stolen of a Monster.

Friend of mine built this bike............MAJOR cash spent

The Buffalo Rally, The Rhino etc comes to mind.
Agreed :lol8:
-
Same class as the BMW R9T ? It looks heavy.
-
The one in the background with the read frame catches my eye as a lekker roady.
The spoked version may appeal to some but definitely not dirt riding with that bike and the low exposed radiator (oil cooler?)
-
I smaak the rally/white version, but it will not do offroad.
-
Really like the look of that. If something that looks like that existed with a sub 700cc engine I would gladly commute on it every day.
-
Here is the version we rode with the wilds of California as a backdrop.
Definitely not kak.
-
Cool looking bike :thumleft: Will check the review

Thats very Ducati Diavel ish
-
The Rally has a duel seat, but no pillion foot pegs ?
And, judging by the position of the rider foot pegs, I 'm not sure if the seating position is comfortable
But, I will wait for the globe trotters' experts to enlighten us in their program :)

First glance similarity to the Yamaha xsr900.
