Title: Some more sidecar photos
Post by: Dustbiter on May 25, 2019, 11:02:50 am
I saw these at the Nals Oldtimer Berg Rennen – a hill-climb regularity event in northern Italy/Südtirol/Alto Adige, which is near where we now live in Meran/o.
Two timed runs (today and tomorrow) should result in similar times for an overall result.
It is an international event, but with most bikes coming from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy.

It was great to see an R65, as I had one for 20 years. This one having fitted twin discs in front – probably a good modification for the added weight of a side car.
The R62 is a 745cc side valve model from 1928.
