Title: Biker killed - Namibia or Botswana
Post by: WildWood on June 28, 2019, 10:06:57 am
I heard a story about a biker from Indonesia being killed in Namibia or Botswana over the past couple of days.

Story I heard that he was was part of a tour group of Indonesian guys that hired bikes in Cape Town and were heading for Botswana. Sounds like the gap between riders was a bit small and a couple of bikes (GS1200's apparently) rear ended each other and one chap died.

Does anyone have any more info.

Because they're not used to exceeding 40km/h. I rarely exceeded that in Thailand & Mauritius.

It's quite sad.

Have not seen or heard anything reported in Namibian media yet...
