I knew Mike from a looong time ago when we were both in the 4x4 Offroad Rescue Unit, this pic was taken one day when we were doing abseiling training off the Hartebeesport Dam wall. He was a character already back then, am not sure if he was sponsored by Capt Morgan or if he sponsored them !
Mike is on the far right.
I remember fondly a ORRU camp at Rustdewinter when we were the last 2 standing (standing being descriptive) and Mike tried to blow out the big outdoor mozzi candles, restraint was not in his vocab back then and he ended up with hot wax all over himself.
