Title: Shipping from SA to Europe
Post by: slowwaydown on April 23, 2009, 02:50:52 pm
Hello Wilddogs,

this Forum was recommended to me by a biker who went around the world. I met him in Sambia.

I am on my way from Hamburg, GER to Cape Town and I am currently in Botsuana. I will reach Cape Town in the end of may. On this 20.000 kilometre trip I got kinda attached to my little 50cc beast. And now I don't want to leave it behind and I am thinking about shipping it home. Do you guys have any experience with shipping a bike to Germany, the UK or the Netherlands? Any companies or websites you can recommend?

Thank you,

slowwaydown

BEST thing to do is hit the yellow pages. I exported mine but its a bit of a pain in the ass and the company was not so good. If you do a search on my posts you should find something, mate.

It's a 1978 Simson "Schwalbe" build in the former GDR (East  Germany).
