hi folks if you travelling around Augrabies and Kakemas...we came across this place by chance from meeting the lady at the Pink pad stal in Kakemas...enroute to Namibia from Gauteng...called Riemvasmaak was an old military base pre 1994 and one of the first reclaimed areas in the new SA...it is still rustic there is running water and toilets...no shop so take your own stuff...beautiful setting in the gorge with hot spring..and not many folk hang out there...we where the only ones for the night and there are gravel roads in and out take the scenic 4x4 route via the orange river...highly recommend this spot
