Title: BEFORE YOU BUY A TT250R LOOK OUT FOR THIS
Post by: Pistonpete on October 02, 2009, 09:55:23 am
There was a nice response to my previous post & was wondering what to look out for when viewing the bike later today.
In fact hurry up....checking it out at 12 ;D

I should maybe also add about the battery.

It's fitted twisted like 90 deg which asks for a gel or whatever battery.

Fit a Hella plug and get a clever charger to prevent it from running low.

It's an expensive battery.

Also make sure about the height for your wife as was said. The suspension on mine is set stiff, but I think it might be slightly higher than my Adventure.

Standard lighting kit is fine, rear number plate bracket needs supports/strapping. Best tank is acerbis XR400 23l fits like a glove. Also had IMS 17l XR400 but not a good fit, however it fits the TTr230 like a glove. Ian Hogg
