Hey Michnus

Awesome place that, my in-laws used to stay in Bokness, some really nice DS roads around there. Also spent many a night on the floating restuarant/bar. Nice people in that part of the world. Just don't do it in December, Kenton on Sea is right there and it is full of BMW X5's flying around on the dust roads.....

Man, I did not know there were so many X5's in the SA, or all of them in Kenton, but luckily the plague is just December.  The Eastern Cape is really still untouched, and that is excellent for DS riding.
This is near Kei river up stream.

I am English.

I just happen to have lived in Oz since 1976.

I still have a Brit passport.

Never bothered changing over to Aussie citizenship.
It's just a piece of paper invented by Governments and Politicians.

Oz is like the UK with better weather, prettier women, nicer beaches and more open countryside.
Aussie pubs are woeful (no character, just places to drink in) and the speed limits suck.

That's the nice thing about staying here, it's a well kept secret this place. You can ride places here on your bike and never have to ride the same route twice.
We did an enduro on Sunday at the Fishriver, same kind of vegetation, beautifull places to ride. I suggested we arange a DS type GSC here, people can leave their trailers at the pond and we can take different routes to Kobb Inn or Hole in the wall.

Where do I sign up :D

Unfortunately they are p#ssed off with me, I usually play wing man in the 4x4 on the Botswana trips, I had to bail out of this novembers trip due to work, money etc.
So an invite is currently unlikely.
