Seems the 1200GS is famous enough, no need for film shoots for mine then.  :D

EDIT: And before the KTM okes start... Orange looks terrible on film. Hence no KTM's needed.

What can a skelm do with only your cell, email and vehicle make details? If he really want it, he can get it from somewhere else!

Who's gonna call Mr. Solomons and let us know?

i often search for cars for filmshoots on gumtree, when you have exhausted the clubs...or the car is very specific....i just think R2000 is a little bit stingey....and normally in film the clutches gives in on the scooters we use, with all the stop and go , cut, 1st position nonsense.....so make sure its a shoot were your bike is not driven by someone else....just parked.i would not let my house or my bike out for a shoot.

yes, thats my life...this is why one should charge for your time as well if they use your bike, and they must insure the bike for the duration of the shoot .

A mate of mine had an olde time Land Cruiser (the one where the front looks like a jeep) ...was going, but farked. He bought it as a project to restore.

"They" used it as is, and paid him more for a weeks use than what he paid for it initially, made a bit of money. Also, with his permission, they painted it khaki, got some more mnoolah for that, and he was going to respray the thing in any case.

They used one of my bro-in law's 40YO Vespas for the Peroni add. I dont know how much they paid for the "hire", but they paid him extra so they can get it painted as well!

i once searched the country for a 1960 convertable concourse white seat lefthand steer e type jaguar for a Embassey lights ad ....i found three....the chef at the hyatt in rosebank had one....i insured it, loaded it on a trailer, took it down Longtom pass....slightly dented a door...and payed him R12000 for it. That was 14 years ago.  it depends how badly we want something, for the price to be really high...
