Hi,
I ride a BMW Dakar in Joburg- 2000 model. I'm going to CT for the weekend for an interview and want to ride the roads there.
Does anyone know where I can hire a bike (250cc +) for Friday, Sat, Sunday (instead of me hiring a car). I have a slim lady friend there I'd like to take with.
Bainskloof, Mitchells pass, Gydo (I have friends on a farm in Witzenbergvallei), and then out to Bettys Bay perhaps.
I have done over 56000kms on an Aprilia Pegaso, and my current beloved! :) I've ridden in gales before and weather doesn't worry me much.

Try www.thebikebusiness.co.za
They rent out KLR's f650GS's and the ubiquitous 1200gs
Dunno about smaller capacity bikes for hire. What does your slim ladyfriend do once you're back home?

OpPad, jy is n genius! Thanks for that link -
If I can prise her outta the cupboard :x I'll see if I can get her to ride with you... (that's what you were after, isn't it?) - however, I'd advise you keep your helmet on... <grin>
:shock: :lol: :twisted: :D
In fact that's a good point - maybe we should go into trades here - that's all we're looking for ain't it?
A slim lady friend to be pillion for the day (/week/ month/ delete inapplicable)
{{all relevant slim (or not!) ladies wishing to be pillions for various adventurous activities please reply here !!!!}}
Actually there're a few I can recommend in CT - only, if you value your life, you won't mention my name to two o' them :P

indeed, and so?
actually - Dros gals (esp Midrand) tend to be a tad expensive... besides, one has to rig elaborate arrangements to tie them onto the pillion seat, to prevent them falling off owing to their inebriated state...
...at least that's what I had to do with the last one... :lol:
