Title: Southern and East Africa Trip 2010 - Sneak preview 1
Post by: Moloko on July 25, 2010, 11:41:58 am
Fellow bikers

A quick update on our Southern and East Africa trip… Well, I lasted all of three weeks when, 20 km outside Siavonga, Southern Zambia, my front wheel decided to call it quits. 100km/h – 0km/h in about 3 seconds and voila – broken pelvis  :imaposer:. I’m currently one week into my six week recovery period.

Anyway, this incident formed part of an amazing trip discovering uncolonised parts of our beautiful neighbouring countries.

When Rudi (aka Tour) returns from the trip, we’ll furnish you with all the pictures, stories, roadside repairs, moments of awe and truly amazing, jaw dropping scenery.

Check out http://www.youtube.com/user/tenereclub for more videos and clips from this and other trips.

Cheers

Moloko

Wow - sorry to hear man.  I am headed that way now. Just finished my SA shakedown week and heading up to Botswana tomorrow.

Any words of wisdom on how not to have my 6 week jaunt end half way through?

cheers and heal well
