Title: KTM 640 Tinkering
Post by: Panjo on November 04, 2010, 11:12:46 am
Well I have a couple of weeks off before I start my new Job and I think its time that Panjo, my baby gets some T L C fro me so here's the start of a dedicated thread that hopefully won't drag on till next year  :bueller: because I prefer riding to tinkering.

Below is the last project I built with a mate of mine. So I'm not scared by a little motorbike, just concerned I wont remain committed to the tight deadlines, of 2 weeks.

Here's the list of things I want to do (Not in any order of priority) and I'd appreciate the Gauteng Dogs giving me any advice or recommendations that they can:

Frame powder coated KTM orange
Rear Sub frame powder coated Black
Foot pegs, Stand, Pedals powder coated black
Hubs and Rims Powder coated black
Swing arm Powder coated black
Radiator Shrouds, Front and rear Mud Guards and Side covers Sprayed Matt White
Engine service and replace head bearings, front and rear wheel bearings.
Fix airbox that previous owner modified
Fit Touratech Pannier rack
Wolfman luggage
Rim tape
Fit Adventure Centre Stand
Fit Extended screen for Wind deflection
Seat pad and recover
Tubliss Tyre conversion

etc etc etc

Anything else you can think of let me know :)
