Not that big, not that hectic, but still around knee deep in places.

The Southern Cape has really got some awesome places to ride.

About 10 years ago on my XT 500, Biedouw Valley in the Cedarberg...made it through even though I forgot to take the height of the airbox into account  :)

The air intake is a very good design on the KTM 950/990. The height of the snorkel. Many a bike will suck water, where the KTM is still sucking air!

Yip, my 950 can go much deeper than the 300, just make sure the airbox is water tight!! :thumleft:

Does water not enter some of your vital parts when you are completely immersed in water?

Only places for water to enter are your air intake and exhausts, the rest are IP66 or better. As long as the engine is running, the exhaust can be submerged but when water gets into the air intake, the bike drowns and so does your bank balance

As long as you have a nice waterproof pant on, it should not get that wet

Was posted before, but still one of the most spectacular water crossing shots - a Suzuki Djebel 250XC doing the water-crossing thing.

eeshh daai Djebel se oog is groot.....

Eerste 2 was die crossing nie die probleem nie, om daar te kom was die probleem...geen omdraai......

Laaste 3, same river, diff bikes.....

Its the Nonoti river near Zinkwazi, if you stop on the N2 and look down you will see the old road that was used before the N2.

As die pad met 'n draai deur die rivier loop moet jy weet waar die pad is.
