I'm thinking about servicing my 2007 DR650 (with 4200km on the clock) for the first time and need some advice please.
The last service was done Dec2009, CR9E-L NGK plugs was fitted as well as a new oil filter, is it even necassary to replace these with only 1100km more since that service and should I rather fit CR10E as the owner's manual says?
Also, do I need to replace the brake fluid(It wasn't replaced at the last service)?
The reason I'm asking is because the bike wasn't used much in the last year & half and I don't want to ask a service agent as they will only tell me to bring it in.

not necessary to replace the spark plug.
do the brake fluid, easy enugh. should be done every 2 years or so
i replace oil filter on every service - cheap part @ R50

If it was my bike I would do:
brake fluid (+- R80)
new oil (+- R250)
new oil filter (+- R50)
Spark plugs last a while, I wouldn't bother.
You've only put 1100km on the bike, so most people wouldn't do anything just yet. Personal choice I guess.

I'd put the CR10E's in.
Reson why they put the CR9E in ??? They did not have stock ::)
Use recommended plugs unless you have a VERY GOOD reason not to do it.
