ADV?
-
690 ADventure
-
no, I mean what sort of ADV is it - rallye conversion etc?
-
Not maybe a 640 ?
-
sorry it just says 950 Adventure
-
My 2c depending on how a bike was ridden and maintained, 5000 km can be a lot! Conversely, a bike with many km's on that has been well ridden and maintained will most likely still give great service for years to come.
So, if you don't know the owner or anything about the bike, take someone with some knowledge with you and evaluate the bike strictly. I do not know what the specific issues are with that model but also finding that out ahead of time will help with your evaluation.

Take it to your dealer, buttttt 25 000 on a 950 is not nearly too much :thumleft: :thumleft:

No its not allot.
Go check in the selling thread with 950 with 61k on it with no problems.
If the price is anything below 75k then i would say its a good buy.

lol
better get used to these kinds of "friendly" responses on here.
In short a well looked after 950 will easy go 80 - 100k before you can realistically expect to open the engine, this is based on my time with my 990 and talking to loads of mates with 950's.
the twins are great engines

Relax.....just yanking yer chain...my comments based on your avatar....ok...and your weird posts....and the fact that you don't read what the okes said......okay.......yanking yer chain some more....to answer your question....no it's not a lot if it's a 950 but it could be a lot for a single cylinder 640 or 690 depending on how the bike was ridden. Single cylinders (640, 690) don't like to sit at 150kph all day long. Hope this helps and apologies for my chain yanking efforts :)

Can't be a 690, they only came out in 2007 for the first time and then it was in SM trim.

Cause I've been riding his ex-660Z for 18 months ;D

A new set of Mitas tyres will generally outlast a KTM motor.

Rather brash statement!
Maybe he is gatvol of the over weight, lack of power and 1970's suspension/ naaah must just be delusional and thinks he can also win a Dakar if he buy's one!
-
Check that al the TSB where done, otherwise it could be costly!
