Title: 690 Aftermarket petrol cap
Post by: 777 on October 06, 2011, 07:09:42 am
I see a lot of genst put an aftermarket cap on the 690, any reason for this, other than the stock one is a ball ache. Can you just buy an aftermarket one, how will the threads fit, costs?

You can order it from KTMTwins.  Its got a triangular lower section that bolts into the place of the original bottom and it has a screw-type upper portion that takes a normal enduro style cap.  Cannot be locked.  Stops dirt from getting into the tank whem you remove the gas cap.
