I've had two Fuji Finepix cameras - slightly older models than this one and both unfortunately stolen during burglaries.
Not being very camera literate, I though it was pretty good. Picture quality, even at maximum zoom was good. My sister-in-law, who is a semi professional photographer, raved about mine as it was so simple to use, compared to her own camera and often borrowed my Fuji when taking pics for her own use.

Had a couple of Fuji's over the years.
Good cameras except had issues with battery life.

Very nice. Decent battery life on this one (with proper AA rechargables). Simple and easy to use. Good picture quality. Bridges the gap between normal point and shoot and DSLR.

My BIL recons it's pretty close to his Nikon D70S in terms of usability and features. I think he's talking kark, though. :D Lense-wise the DSLRs are way better, but for the price, this Fujifilm point-and-shoot is the bomb... ;)

We got our one from Katz in PE for R1,890.00, including 2 x 2GB memory cards.

I'm just looking for the setting to switch off the crap shutter sound. :D
