Coutry Trax 2010..

1. No action pick of the KLR - I didn't have an incident, the bike was lying down for a rest  ;D
2. My boet - head chopped off 'cause I don't have his permission to post the pick
3. Another participant - hope he isn't a WD  >:D

Ouch!! I inspected the sand quite recently but luckly for me at slow speed...which was probably the cause of the little mishap!  :imaposer:

Trying to put my mirror back on after a sand oopsie.

Top of Helskloof / Richtersveld - 2007.

My first off-road trip. Overplanned and underprepared. But infinitely memorable

Not my proudest moment............ 2-days old, placed the bike on a bit of a camber........... whilst loading Goosetoobs for delivery, pulled flippen bungee-cord to tighten and the bike moer'd into the street.......  :-[

Cannot describe the feeling........ but ended up standing there laughing........... wife came outside and nearly did her nut!

in retrospect - it was the best thing that could have happened.......
These bikes are unbelievably tough and there were very, very minor scrapes on the pannier rails, mirror, cylinder guards and very tip of the screen.

thank goodness it was in 2009 and I've only now got the guts to post...   :imaposer:

The Lump also decided to rest awhile - rolled off the side-stand at the Quiver Tree Forest Camp outside Keetmanshoop in April this year.... ???

No-one told me about the GSA's propensity for rolling off the stand on a slope.... heavy learning curve after the mirth had died down..... :D
