Title: I can get a 610SM...
Post by: Berm_Rooster on March 20, 2012, 04:45:51 pm
...for 16k. :mwink:
2006  O0
Good nic  :thumleft:
Code 3 :o
 :'(

If I can verify the accident and repair details, and that is up to scratch, would it be a good buy?

I have seen it, but not gone through with a fine-tooth comb to establish residual damage/ faults. Apparently a rear-impact. New wheel, swingarm, chain&sprock, subframe and plastics. If all these are in check and there is no damage to the casing and main frame, is it something worth looking into? Will I be able to offload it in a couple of months without losing too much money?

Jaja Chris, ek het maar vir ou Nic ingegooi om die gesprek bietjie op te kikker. Die ou het nie die bike geadverteer nie, dis n werk kollega van my. Hyt my bloot gevra of ek belang stel.

I have one as you may know

The swingwarm is longer than the TE's, both the fromt and back shock has quite a bit less travel , and the front will have to be revalved and re-sprung.  The Sm front end will knock your fillings out on a good offroad run. :imaposer:

You also know the wheels are 17"all round. With that said and done , my 06 model was used offraod by one of the forum members before I bought her and out her where she belongs , on the road >:D

If the itch is still there , do it , and sell that WR to me , I promise to take very good care of her :thumleft:

Haha, S4B, nice try!

I dertact that you are assuming that I may want to convert to offroad. This is not the case. That thing, like you rightfully said, belongs on the road. And that is where I will keep it if I end up doing it.
