Title: 610 power curve

I have done a couple of rides now and must say the 610 has a very smooth power curve, so smooth it barely spins the rear on dirt yet picks up speed quickly ! I have had a Mitas and Maxxis on the back and both hooked up well. I'm comparing to a DRZ with 440 kit and KTM 525 which lit up the rear quite easily. It really feels like you are just cruising untill you have a look at the speedo.

That ability to consistently hook up is one of the things that makes this bike so easy to ride in difficult terrain IMO.

Awesome long lazy stroke --that CAN rev as well --gearbox has been number on eon Huskies even when i raced the Old 500cc Two Smokers :mwink:

To get it to powerslide is also no problem at all and it does it sooooo much more controlled-

I still think the 610 TE is one of the most underated bikes out there -- will be hard to if not impossible to ever replace it-- with WHAT ?

I prefer doing technical stuff with the 610 instead of the 450 -or 510 just a smoother output of power  :mwink:

Yes I do ! But for general commuting and ds the 610 is nice, would like a second bike someday (either 550, 650 nothing else)

That 610 is a nice ride, I would sell an XR for the 610 any day.

Almost everything is better, not too sure about that clutch pull though.. is your's standard?
Is the hydro clutch turning me into a softy?

The clutch pull on my one is perfect once the cable was rerouted and the adjustments made to the clutch pushrod.

Especially with a new Michelin Desert fitted.

Yip the other ones I felt, way softer on the pull  :-\
