HI PTW

The best I can  recommend is to buy it from Touratech USA, and if you have a friend in the USA get it send to them and let them send it to you. You can also open a US shipping address now, I think it is with Paypal in the US and they will send it to SA. Don't try to order it from Touratech South Africa. I have been waiting for my Lockable Garmin 590LM now already more than 8 weeks, and I have spoke to them many times and I gave up. Seems like Touratech SA is not interested in Business. They say on the website 10 days. 10 days my ass.

last year I have ordered some T shirst from them, I waited 10 weeks for it. Touratech US have a great service. Touratech US will not send it to SA, so you got to have a US address for them to ship it.
Lucky this time I did not pay for this upfront.

Hi Wayne

Thanks very much for the info, it will help us alot. The 2 spoor track you talking about, is that the one that follow all along the border? At the moment my friend that ride with me, has a bit of a time restriction as he still have to ride back to Durban that same day, I will only have to reach Bloemfontein.

Cracker

We should be there if all goes well the day of the 27/28 Nov in Lesotho.

Our hole trip will be as follow.

Depart Durban the morning of the 23rd Nov to St Lucia
Day 2 - St Lucia to swaziland (Hlane National Park)
Day 3 - Hlane National Park, out by the Bulembu Border control and then down to Underberg. We will ride until we tied for the day.
Day 4 - From where ever we are to Underberg.
Day 5 - Up Sani into Lesotho to katse lodge
Day 6 - Katse lodge to Fouriesberg. This is where me and my mate say good bay and he will be back to Durban and me will turn towards the Cape. I will sleep that night in Bloem by my parens
Day 7, 8 and maybe 9 - Bloem to the Karoo via Kimberley, just after Kimberley I will start hitting all the back gravel roads. I will plan my day as i go, and sleep when i get tied. I am planning to go via Prieska, Vosburg, Carnarvon, Loxton, Fraserburg, Sutherland, into the Tankwa, Ceres and back home to Brackenfell.

This is just a ruff plan route, it all depends on how our days goes.
Anybody is welcome to join up with us and follow us if they like.
Especially my last 3 days where I will be riding by myself, it will be good to have some company for incase anything happens.

Cheers

Hi WD

I will be traveling through Lesotho in a couple weeks time, and I was wondering if any of you guys can give me some advice on how the roads look.
We will start from Underberg in KZN over Sani Pass  to Molumang then left to Mohlanpeng then right to Thaba- Tseke, Bokong and then sleep the night at Katse Lodge.

My question is, how is the roads and how long will this take us +/-

The next day we will leave Katse lodge to Hlotse turn right to Butha-Buthe, left again trought the Caledonspoort border post off to Fouriesburg. Again how does the rd look and +/- how long will this take us.

Your help will be much appreciated.

Cheers
