Hilton, I have replaced mine recently.
Buy the BMW o-rings. You have to replace it as it gets squashed during fitment (#5). Also, replace the other o-ring (#6) while you are at it.
For the pushrod seals, spay some carb cleaner on the rubber (#4). Will be much easier to fit.
You might need a piston ring compressor if you remove the cylinder completely

As for sealant, I used red gasket maker. Some articles I read,  did not use any.  But it has to be VERY, VERY LITTLE. Just smear it on with your finger. Work quickly as it also dries very quick.
AND REMEMBER: do not cover the small little hole with gasket sealer. At the top right stud.

If I remember you can buy a service kit that is basically the the whole piston (#12).  Or it might be the o-ring below the tank. (#21)

I have never had issues with my C-tek charger. I charge till full,  then remove the charger from the battery
