Interesting and nice places, just not good for biking in winter.
I just wish our downtown areas were as neat and clean.
Here any brandnew building is only neat and clean for a short period.

Forgive me, ladies and gentlemen, I just attempted to download all of the bike descriptions from a memory card onto my iPad, and found the memory card empty.  The photos did not transfer from my Windows laptop onto the memory card apparently.

Therefore, it will be quite sometime, until Im back from a multi-month motorbike trip before any bikes are posted.  I apologize, but I wont fall on my sword in a samurai suicide!!
Sad news, but will have to wait. :dousing:
Please do not fall on your sword, you may just damage it and then the damsels in distress will go into depression. :imaposer: :peepwall:

I will take a bite at the bait Kilroy. No, I would not. At a certain point we were still fighting a full war with an enemy, losing friends and many returning disabled, just to see how everything is given away within a short period of time thereafter. We fought a war and won, irrespective of what Oilspil says, but it was all for nothing in the end. It was however a great adventure, something I have no regrets about in its own.
No Bie, it was not in vain!
Our children, all colours and races, can play in the veld and our infrastructure undamaged etc.
We do not have landmines and destroyed buildings with a longterm detrimental effect due to the fact that ( right or wrong) the war was kept out of SA.
Yes sorry MK but you guys were not much of an army.

There is a lady that has toured all over the world and they had to replace and repair her hubbys spoked wheels but her alloys were still fine.
For riding to see the sights, alloy should be fine, fast and bad stones etc. nope.

I used high pressure fine spray to cool and retard my "backburn?" when fighting sugarcane fires, not sure on forest fires though.
I had a normal backpack next to my bike with very sharp cane knives and stopped a few fires by getting there fast.
If your fires are mainly timber, chainsaw?
Remember to always have your rig facing away from the fire as elephant turns do not work with a long heavy trailer behind!

Dit maak my sommer ....................

Mrs Zog, did you forget how hard hubby is from all the cementpills he has taken?
Next time kick him on a softer spot! :imaposer:
Seriously, hope your toe heals up quick and does not trouble you too much.
Those long days in the heat doing physical labour eats you, good thing you make sure that you rehidrate.
May this week be a better one for you two. :thumleft:

Thank you!
The yellowfish there below the dam at the old caravan park must still be very glad that I am no longer fishing there.
I went to my matric dance with the ( then)  shop owner's daughter.
Nice little town, would love to see what it looks like now!
Do they still have the waterpoints next to the roads there?
I understand that there are also monster barbel in the dam.
Many great memories brought back. :thumleft:

Mrs Zog, thanks for your insight into how things affect you.
South Africa is a wonderfull country with many unique things, just pity the majority want to destroy rather than build as they do not understand.
