I sourced a few sets of these....in the one pic I compare them to the BMW LED's on my GSA..... near as dammit...far more cost effective!

Do you still have any left?

Possibly - let me just check - all in storage ...will send you a pm by the weekend

Planning a Ride / NAPIER PATATFEES 2018 - Come and enjoy the Overberg!
« on: March 27, 2018, 03:06:25 pm »
[/url]

The annual NAPIER WINE & PATATFEES is being held in the Overberg from 15th to 17th June 2018

Not only is this a really great even to come and support ..........BUT our little village (Napier) is the perfect place to stay over a weekend, allowing you to explore the Overberg using Napier as a base.(Cape Town to Napier = 170km)

EXPLORING THE AREA BY BIKE  :ricky:....(or car if you really have to ....  >:D
Napier to Hermanus & Swellendam are both only 70km from Napier, Bredasdorp is 17km with Arniston is only 40km via the R316, Struisbaai is 49km and Agulhas a sort 8km further to enjoy the Southernmost tip of Africa (great opportunity to visit the new Africa Continent Sculpture at the point!).............and don't forget that Malgas & the Pont is also only 75km away with some really great Dirt roads to explore!!

Some of the main events are the MTB Race, Trail Run and Napier Half Marathon - more info on these events here: http://www.napierpatatmtb.co.za/route-and-map

SATURDAY Evening there will also be live entertainment - AKKEDIS will play those sweet tunes that people love!

ACCOMODATION

Napier is a "dorpie" with limited accommodation - however we've managed to team up with a local events company...........and they will have amazing luxury tents available!
The local Cricket Field will be used to pitch a "Tented Hotel" to offer more accommodation - hopefully catering for more visitors.

WHAT IS A TENTED HOTEL?
Antoinette Events is proud to announce their Luxury Camping Accommodation and services to all clients. This trendy accommodation is available to rent at Functions and for private purposes. This is a hassle-free accommodation since the tent will be setup and stricken for you and there are hot gas shower and toilet facilities.
RATES
Rates are per 3m x 3m Bow tent for a maximum of two people and minimum two night stay. Your tent will include: two single beds, two single mattresses and duvet, pillow, fresh cotton linen, a LED light, bedside table and two Chairs. We make sure that every tent is as comfortable as a stay away from home can be! The area where the Tented Hotel is located, is nearby to shops and the race start/end.

PLEASE SEE ATTACHED PDF Document for Rates and Booking Information....
*** Bookings will open the 2nd April and end one week before the Patatfees***   Tentes Hotel will be allocated on a first-come basis....  :pot:

FOOD & DRINK
Not only will there be lots to eat and drink at the actual festival - we have numerous really great restaurants that will be able to suit any budget with really great food and company.
Whether you visit "The Fox" Pub....Gunners, Suntouched Inn, Pascals or JD Bistro..........not to forget the Napier Farmstall for those amazing breakfast's!!

HERE's A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO EXPLORE OUR REGION!!!!

sal mos nou lekker gewees het as hierdie pette nog beskikbaar was...?

:thumleft:

Andy - as you say - words fails us at times like this. I kept looking at his pic and thinking how young this man was......with friends like you and John, Renette and all the others.....man he was much loved......as the support at the funeral showed.

Take care
