Makes sense to use plastic bikes for adv duty in the US.

1. They are cheap
2. Parts are cheap
3. Everything is better in the US

Ah man this sums it up for me perfectly!! A light bike with a massive fuel tank, easy to work on and can go anywhere with a decent range. I seriously love the idea of small bike touring, why would you want to go fast anyway, you miss all the scenery then.
