Heimer's Roadfood: Bull Brand Happiness
« on: January 09, 2013, 03:35:48 pm »
I have been wanting to make myself some real road food for a while now.

All my trips lately were to WD bashes and at most of these, the menu included Skaapkop.

So with some free time after christmas I planned a ride to Koedoeskloof, Carnavon and the west coast.

I camped 2 nights at Koedoeskloof

This was how I prepared my lunch on 30 Dec

I must transform this:

The important thing to know about a can of bully beef is that the lard is there for a reason

To fry the onions in.

Separate it from the meat an place it in the pan

Get that heated

Add the onions and garlic

Wat is cous-cous?
I'm not saying kill stupid people, I'm saying, remove the warning labels and let the problem sort itself out.

in case someone wonders what semolina is;
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Semolina
Semolina is the coarse, purified wheat middlings of durum wheat used in making pasta, breakfast cereals, puddings, and couscous.[1] The term semolina is also used to designate coarse middlings from other varieties of wheat, and from other grains such as rice and corn.
