So we got back from our trip Yesterday/Today, some of us had detours and clocked in 5591Km and some did it in 13 days, and another in 14 days... Full ride review to follow, here is some teasers...

Day 1 done... Still waiting for some pictures from Charl - will probably only finish Day 2 over the weekend..

Hope you enjoy the read (first day was the boring'est) just had to "kill" the Km's to get into NAM...

What did the other DS riders say? :D You know the "real" guys with the R150k+ bikes and pimp suits? :D

I remember riding into the Hell once. On the road with us were a couple from Gauteng who rode all the way there in a Defender 90 "because of the road". You can imagine their faces after 1000km of shaking on the N1 when they got into Gamkaskloof only to find a Daewoo Matiz also there. :lol8:

R150k bikes, by that you mean the GSA's ?

They have 19inch fronts, so not allowed on dirt :P
