Rear spring for KTM640
« on: November 15, 2007, 06:14:42 pm »
I am doing the west coast route of LDN - CPT in Jan, and the last mod to the bike is the rear spring - by all accounts swapping from the OE 70/260 to a 80/260 is a must.

With riding gear I weigh 100kg's and I should be carrying around 30kg in luggage.

Any comments on the this mod, and where I can get hold of a 80/260 would be much appreciated.

For those interested, reports on our other mods at www.2muppets.com

Two people may be able to help

1. Runner on this forum
2. Ralph Pitchford in JHB - suspension guru
I used to be indecisive, but I'm not so sure anymore

Not sure, but Ralph used to be Butch's sidekick. Apparently he is your man !!!
Has a dealership in JHB

Runner I know by reputation only !!
