E-tolls - what do they mean to the rest of us?

So, the GP's seem to have it all figured out, but there's a bunch of conflicting reports and general confusion relating to what e-tolling will do to people who aren't from Gauteng and don't travel through the area often. Seems like nobody really knows what'll happen.

Can anyone clarify as to how e-tolls will affect people in other provinces? What is the tariff differences etc.

Not that it bugs me - if I am ever punished and have to go through Gauteng it'll be gravel all the way through, I'm just interested to find out about the details.

"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with your rear wheel.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

It will raise inflation by end January at the earliest.
That is when most companies will have had some data to work with to base the added costs of transport e-tollling will be adding. :deal:

If you believe govt, then you guys should score big time, seeing that for every Rand we spend on e-tolls, we generate an extra R15 - so our taxes will all be flowing to you in even greater amounts

If you don't believe govt, all the goods and services that come from Gauteng will be inflated very soon
