What GPS system are you guys using on your LC's? I've got a Montana 650 and not sure if I should just stick to it or get the Zumo version that already have the mount on the bike. Won't you post some pics of your system if you using something else other then. Would love to see how you have mounted it.

The Montana is nice, as long as the wheel that will be useless does not bother you.

I use the BMW Navigator V - the new one, there is no Zumo model which links with it yet, I know the Nav IV was a 660 dressed up in BMW clothing.

Anyway - i like the Nav V - as it links up with the canbus of the bike.

The BMW Navigator IV and V integrates with the controls on the bike, the Zumo 660 will work in the cradle, it will have power, but you wont be able to use the features on the unit via the control wheel on the handlebar. BMW has additional software built in.

Would you guys say the V is worth it to double up as a car gps too? Instead of buying two cheaper ones. I would however like the V on my LC

It does everything that the cheaper GPS can do, so it will do well in the car as on the bike. If that's your excuse, go for it. Is it worth R10k? Probably because you can, yes. The functionality is not that impressive. I would buy it but first need to sell the IV.

Received mine today, seems to be improved from the Nav IV, nice screen and more features.

Yes they both integrate with the bike, the V the screen is just bigger and brighter, and with Smartphone Link you can connect your smartphone to the unit and send routes, traffic reports and speed camera warnings from your phone to the unit.

For the traffic and the Camera warnings you need to pay subscription of R 239.00 each.
