What price range.....I have started making my own but it is more work than rebuilding the complete bike.....

Sorry for the late reply guys. I've PM'd the guys that have asked for more info. We're still busy finalising the design and first fabrication, but will post when they are ready for ordering.

The Flying Brick Store will be stocking the 640 crash bars; we've had our order in for some weeks now, whilst they tweaked the final design; I'll let HD Baron reply on actual dates, but we will stock them in the Cape.

Hey guys,

Good progress, we've been concentrating entirely on the crash bars this week. Our plan is to send for powder coating early next week and I'll post a pic as soon as I have one in hand.

Sneak peak of the guys exploring some options earlier this week below.

What is not clear from your photo is whether it will accommodate a high mudguard.
Up to 2004 it was high, and all since (up to 2007) were often modified to have it high.

The aftermarket ones sold in the last few years did NOT accommodate the high mudguard due to the braces in front of the radiator

Hi guys,

@Sprocketbek: We're aware about the high mudguard and our development bike has had it's mudguard lifted, so yes, it will accommodate the high mudguard.

Update on the progress, we took a few days to find a suitable material option for the vibration damping, we have selected a material now and integrated onto the bike. We're close, thanks for being patient. I will keep you updated.
