Why so many KTM 690's for sale??
« on: June 26, 2015, 12:35:59 pm »
From a KTM wannabee: Why are there so many KTM 690's for sale in the 20,000 to 30,000 kilometre range?
Is this where they pack up or become expensive?  >:D

Ek is op my 2de 690. My eerste een was n 08 model met 97 000km. Toe is sy motor gaar... Koop vir jou n 690. Maak net seker hy was gereeld gediens.

My friend se 640 het al 77 000 km op. Hy wheelie daai arme bike oorals waar hy gan. Alby is n wenner fiets.

Ek het te oud geraak vir my 690!  Mis hom steeds, veral in rowwe gedeeltes.

I think the 690 makes a perfect second bike. One for shorter trips and then  a 990 for longer rides . I think maybe some buy it thinking it will make a perfect DS bike. If you not used to a single,or even a saddle like that, you will lose pluck very soon.

Kicks ass against my 640 big time, but eish I'd rather spend three hours on the 640 than the 690.

Horses for courses and still an awesome bike IMHO.
